Founded in 1995, the Coniston Brewing Company is a tiny brewpub, located at the Black Bull, a 400 year-old coaching inn in Coniston, Cumbria, U.K. In 1998, Coniston’s Bluebird Bitter won the U.K.’s most prestigious award — Supreme Champion Beer — at the Great British Beer Festival.
