De Cam

De Cam Geuzestekerij is a fiercely traditional lambic blendery in Gooik, Belgium, specializing in oude geuze, oude kriek, and other fruited lambics. When it opened in 1997, De Cam was the first new traditional lambic blender in Belgium in forty years.

Blender Karel Goddeau, who studied under 3 Fonteinen’s Armand and Gaston DeBelder, is passionate about tradition: “Oude Geuze is NEVER on draft. The refermentation is much too complex and improves within years (I like it at 7).”
